Swan Yoga - Trumpeter Swan

As an artist or a photographer, you learn to anticipate the action, but there are times you can be surprised. My husband and I spent the morning cruising through Grand Teton National Park and stopped by a creek for lunch where we noticed some sleeping swans. They were unconcerned about us, but while sleeping they looked like white rocks. Then one of the birds decided it had enough, stood and began stretching, putting all of its 20-plus pounds of weight on one leg and the feather tip of one wing.
